Job Qualification Requirements:
• Applicants must have twenty-four (24) months of continuous work experience in a store as a maintenance worker.
• Experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and systems.
• Ability to spot issues early and perform thorough inspections.
• Able to communicate effectively with store management and team members. (preferably English- and Chinese-speaking).

Ocean Star Corporation is seeking 2 temporary, full-time store maintenance for an anticipated employment period from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.

Wage Information:
• Basic Wage Rate Paid: $9.75 per hour
• Overtime Wage Rate Paid: $14.63 per hour (time and a half) for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week.
The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week.
Other Material Terms and Conditions of the Job Offer:
Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

· Conduct regular checks around the store to identify and repair issues involving equipment, fixtures, furniture, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
· Service and maintain air conditioners, heaters, refrigerators, freezers, and ice machines. Clean coils and vents, change filters, refill Freon, and fix leaks.
· Inspect and repair electrical panels, circuits, outlets, and lighting. Maintain plumbing systems by fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and ensuring proper water pressure.
· Perform minor carpentry repairs, replace broken furniture, and fix shelves, displays, and damaged flooring.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms, butcher/food prep areas, high-touch surfaces, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain a clean store daily, especially at closing.
· Maintain and clean drainage systems, sewer lines, and sump pumps to prevent blockages and odors.
· Regularly check and maintain alarm systems, security cameras, locks, and lighting to keep the store secure.
· Manage and reorder maintenance tools and parts as needed.
· Respond quickly to urgent issues such as equipment failures, leaks, or power outages—day or night.
· Follow a preventive schedule to keep all systems and equipment running efficiently and reduce breakdowns.
· Work closely with store management. Follow health, fire, and safety codes, and always use proper PPE.
· • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and respond to emergencies as needed.
